About The Role
CBRE’s Land Services Group provides real estate strategies and disposition services for private individuals, corporations, public companies and institutions across the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Golden Horseshoe Area. CBRE’s Land Services Group is looking for 2 students to join their team for the Summer 2024 work term. The ideal candidate is interested in real estate development and has a working knowledge of land use policy specific to the GTA region. They are proactive, well organized, detail oriented, and has excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A successful intern will be eager to help and should be comfortable working individually and as part of a team.

What You Will Do
•Creating and maintaining the team’s land owner prospect database for municipalities throughout the GTA & GGHA
•Property due diligence and research for potential listings & new listings
•Municipal research including, new planning initiatives (official plans, secondary plans, zoning by-laws etc.), new transit plans, LPAT case statuses, etc.
•Digital map archive support
•Creating new database lists and verifying information
•Additional tasks as assigned
