Job description
We are currently looking for a millwright to join a manufacturing facility in Guelph.
Preferred background will be from automotive, steel, aerospace or heavy manufacturing.
Location: Guelph
Position: Millwright - must have a 433a ticket with at least 3-4 years of experience
Shift: Straight Days - Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm - will have to be able to do some occasional coverage on other shifts
Payrate: $35-$40/hour
Must have a fabrication background and be able to do some welding (mig or tig)
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a must.

Responsibilities
- Work together with the manufacturing team on ensuring that all preventative maintenance is completed
- Work with older machines such as CNC, Lathes and Mills and be able to troubleshoot and fix whatever necessary
- Assist with fabrication and be able to do some welding - mig and tig
- Work with a junior team and be able to offer guidance and direction
Qualifications
- Must have a 433a with at least 3-4 years of experience
- Fabrication background is a must - ideally someone who has done SOME mig and tig welding
- Able to work independently with very little supervision
- Must come from a manufacturing background such as automotive, aerospace or steel
