Currently have a long-term job opportunity in Langley, BC for an Industrial Mechanic/ Millwright.

We are looking for a professional Mechanic/ Millwright that has a background in the industrial industry and is looking for work now! In this role you will be working very closely on Hydraulics, Pneumatics and cylinder repairs. We need someone with a good background in diagnosing, and repairing active conveyors and moving lines. We are looking for someone with a passion for fixing things, who enjoys learning and can provide feedback and long term PM solutions in our facility. We have lots of room for growth in house and have a flexible pay structure to recognize your experience level! No Red Seal or Journeyman ticket needed to be considered! Apply Today!

Location: Langley, BC
Shift: Mid-Days/ Afternoons offered (SHIFT TIME tbd)
Job Time: 6:00am-3:50pm or 7:00am-4:50pm (6 week rotation between shifts)
Wage offered: Up to $44/hr depending on level of experience

Responsibilities
- Dismantle and inspect hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders
- Diagnose and recommend required repairs
- Identify and measure seals
- Operate hone, hydraulic test bench, overhead cranes, and micrometers
- Execute and complete repairs and maintain accurate records
- Offer your services as a well rounded industrial mechanic
- Troubleshoot and repair Conveyors on a working line

Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman, Red Seal Millwright or 2nd, 3rd-4th year apprentices
- 2+ years of experience working as an industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience working with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machines
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
- Problem-solve and execute solutions, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment
- Demonstrated leadership and work ethic
- You are located in the Langley BC area!
