Overnight Sanitation Worker

Ethan Allen is recruiting for a Sanitation Worker for a local food and beverage industry manufacturer in the Milton, NY area.


The appropriate candidate will have at least a year’s worth of practice working in a sanitation function in a manufacturing environment. practice in the food industry is a plus.


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30pm-6am + 1 Saturday per month
Pay: $18 per hour



Responsibilities of the Sanitation Worker include:

»Ensuring products and equipment conform to federal and state sanitation laws

»Disassemble machines for proper cleaning and reassemble when done

»General maintenance & upkeep of facility

»Inspection of plant for unsanitary conditions

»Maintenance of sanitation chemical inventory

Requirements:

» practiced with sanitation in a manufacturing environment

»Must have CIP practice

» capability to stand for long periods of time

» capability to regularly lift and move up 50 pounds

»High school degree or GED

»Must have steel toed boots or be able to get them shortly after starting work
