Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy civil, light rail, structural, and architectural construction, with a proven track record of success in bidding for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the estimation process for heavy civil, light rail, structural, and architectural projects, including but not limited to:
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements.
- Performing quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Identifying and evaluating project risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with project teams to develop comprehensive bid proposals.

2. Utilize industry-leading estimation software and tools to produce accurate and competitive bids.

3. Research and analyze market trends, material costs, and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bidding strategies.

4. Review and assess project documents, contracts, and bid requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop cost-effective construction methods and value engineering solutions.

6. Participate in bid strategy meetings and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

7. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior estimators as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as an estimator in heavy civil, light rail, structural, and architectural construction.
- Proven experience in heavy bidding and successfully securing large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, WinEst, or similar.
