About the job
As the Manager of Nursing Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care delivery. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses and collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional home care services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Direction of day-to-day operations for Ontario
Providing visionary leadership to the field nursing teams
Developing and communicating strategic goals for nursing services
Collaborating with staff administration and management
Policy and training development and Implementation
Creating and maintaining nursing policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with organizational policies with regulatory authority and Ministry of LTC
Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that nursing services meet or exceed established standards
Provide strong leadership to the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Advocate for Patients: Ensure that nursing services are patient-centered, emphasizing compassionate and high-quality care. Collect and utilize patient feedback to improve nursing services
Minimum Qualifications:
RN -Registered Nurse’s Certification required CNO – College of Nurses of Ontario
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of managerial and work experience as a Registered Nurse in related industry
Palliative nurse certification and asset or industry experience in Long-term care homes, Hospitals, Home care and Hospices
Experience in nursing management
Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
Demonstrated ability to always maintain confidentiality and privacy and communicate in a courteous and respectful manner
Valid Ontario Drivers License
