 DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- USA 
 The Director of Business Development for Cross border USA will be responsible for the growth of our Cross border USA LTL initiative      The individual will work with our Cross border Partner, our  VPs of operations across Canada and including the Fastfrate group Sales teams.  He will sell the suite of services we offer as part of our value proposition to the customers.   The individual must work independently to target new business opportunities, and also liase with Sales Team as the subject matter expert.    The role will report directly to the CCO of Fastfrate group.  
  Responsibilities: 
-  Develop and manage  Fastfrate group Cross Border from a commercial standpoint  . 
-  Deliver targeted results including  maximizing bottom line profitability. 
-  A good understanding of Cross Border LTL services. 
-  Develop and implement  lead  sourcing strategies  to attract the right customers. 
-  Work with pricing group to speed up pricing requirements. 
-  Create  policies and  practices to meet and/or exceed KPI’s and customer satisfaction goals. 
-  Benchmarking and adapting industry best practices to drive  competitive value proposition. 
-  Sales alignment with Sales team across all groups as a subject matter expert 
-  Lead customer experience through customer on boarding process 
-  Develop, implement, and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively educating the sales team. 
-  Hit Budget Expectation 
-  Develops and maintains working relationships  across the Fastfrate group of companies 
-  Territory Growth 
 Requirements: 
-  Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,  WMS 
-  Good understanding of Cross Border LTL 
-  Demonstrated ability to develop strategies aimed  at growth expectations. 
-  Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. 
-  MUST have    experience in supply/demand  and competitive landscape 
-  Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. 
-  Experience negotiating terms and conditions including customer  contracts.
