This is a Permanent Night Shift position in our Sherwood Park shop. 

What would you be doing?

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Recognize defective welds, know the cause, and repair procedure for the defective area.
• Fuse metals safely and effectively using prescribed welding applications.
• Perform tasks by industry quality and production standards. 
• Supervising a team of Welder's. 

Does this sound like you?

• Have your Journeyperson Welder ticket.
• B-Pressure ticket. 
• Have experience supervising a team of Welders.
• Experience in Chromium carbide overlay is an asset.
• Have CSTS20. 
• Know and understand metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filler roads. 
• Know and understand the welding equipment involved in various procedures.
• Have physical strength, stamina, and the use of proper lifting techniques.
• Required to manage heavy materials and stand for extended periods .
• Are adaptable and can work in a team environment. 
• Have safety as a top priority.
• Able to read and understand complex instructions.
