Lab Quest Coordinator (Student Position)
Temporary Full Time (12 weeks)
Location: Happy Valley-Goose Bay
The LabQuest Program will introduce students to the fascinating world of health sciences and rewarding health careers. It is available to students in levels I, II, III & IV living in central Labrador, the coastal communities and Great Northern Peninsula service areas.
We are seeking a dynamic individual for a 12-week period to over see the implementation of LabQuest and to coordinate all logistic and administration components. The coordinator will also provide supervision to student facilitators and complete a final assessment of the program.
The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as a team player, computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, graduated from high school and currently enrolled in a post secondary institution preferably in a health career. Knowledge of Labrador's diverse cultures is a definite asset. The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.
Salary:
" $24.98 per hour
Hours of Work:
" 75 hours Bi-weekly; Flexible hours may be required
