Job description
On behalf of our Healthcare client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Senior Business Analyst - Digital Referrals and Orders Project (Healthcare experience) to join our client's team on a contract basis.
Summary of the Role:
This BA will perform technical and functional requirements analysis, develop requirements and design documentation, supporting workflows and fully qualified Jira Epics and Stories to facilitate Product Development through an Agile sprint lifecycle.
- Lead the project resources and coordinate with multiple team on project activities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the system meets their requirements using validated tools
- Development of project charter
- Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders
- Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Sponsor
- Maintain and update project status reports and dashboards
- Manage project scope change processes and acquire approvals as required
- Control, track, and report on execution of project plans, project financials, milestones, and current issues
Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior BA in the healthcare sector in Canada.
- Experience working with the Health Authorities in BC would be an asset.
- Excellent skills gathering technical and functional requirements, processes, workflows, and conducting analysis in a healthcare setting.
- Experience analyzing processes and understanding the interactions between various healthcare systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, developing agendas, requirements elicitation, and facilitating collaboration across a variety of stakeholder groups.
- Experience analyzing processes and understanding the interactions between various healthcare systems.
- Ability to work with operations teams, develop documentation to meet their needs and support the development of change management, training, and user resources.
- Knowledge of FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7, APIs an asset.
