Purpose of the Role We are looking for an experienced product manager who is a strategic problem-solver and can effectively operate in a dynamic and complex environment. You have a track-record of managing a product and can spearhead the roadmap and drive the development of new innovative solutions. Your focus will be on developing, commercializing, and managing the wellness and functional medicine portfolio.

 

In this role, you will be delivering capabilities to respond to evolving and increasingly digital customer and patient needs, while comfortably balancing short and long-term business priorities. You will be responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts across LifeLabs to design and implement a best-in-class experience for our clients, front line colleagues, and health care providers. You will work closely with marketing, channel, clinical, regulatory, finance, operations, IT, product, and sales teams to design, develop, and launch new products and drive measurable business impact and results.

Core Accountabilities

 

Product / Portfolio Strategy and Roadmap Development

-Supports the development and definition of the vision and strategy for the portfolio and translate into a roadmap for the portfolio to meet the customers’ needs and optimize our revenue and profitability
-Leverage Business Insights, Market / Consumer Experience Research, Real World Evidence, and networks to ensure the best possible understanding of customer needs and attitudes to ensure relevance and acceptance of our offerings by target segments
-Identify and assess new solutions and opportunities that are attainable and profitable
-Support assessments of market potential, customer needs, technology readiness, competitive landscape, and strategic alignment
-Support analysis on emerging business opportunities and technological innovations as required

Product Design, Development, and Delivery

-Lead product development activities, define new product / service requirements, develop business plan, and obtain buy-in and support from internal stakeholders to deliver and introduce new offering into the market
-Define ongoing pricing strategy and go-to-market activities to ensure products and services are competitive and responsive to changing market dynamics
-Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to execute the sales and marketing plan

 
Product Performance, Forecasting & Management

-Support the management of product revenue forecasts and profitability targets
-Develop and execute on strategies and deliver measurable results in both the short and long term, and demonstrating end-to-end ownership
-Work with sales and marketing to ensure revenue targets are achieved and evolve strategy based on customer feedback; Build, manage and tracking of deliverables
-Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Intelligence to track product performance through relevant indicators and develop plans to support ongoing improvements

 

Qualification and Skills

-University Degree in health informatics, business, engineering, science, marketing, or equivalent experience
-PMP designation or equivalent experience an asset
-Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in hands-on product and service development / brand management
-Project management, process management, and vendor / KOL relationship management experience
-Robust organizational skills with track record of working cross-functionally while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
-Financial accountability and experience developing and executing business cases
-Proven and self-motivated performer who can manage multiple and evolving business priorities
-Excellent written/verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving

This is a remote role. 

Hiring Range: 92,600 - 118,000 

The hiring range has been established, however, the final salary recommendation will be determined based off the level of experience, education requirement, external market conditions and internal equity.  

In this position, you will be eligible for Lifelabs annual bonus.
