En soutien au superviseur des publications techniques du CH146 Griffon Limited Life Extension (GLLE) et au gestionnaire du soutien logistique intégré (ILS), en liaison avec le personnel de projet approprié et les experts en la matière au sein de BTCL et du bureau de gestion du projet CH146 GLLE, le coordinateur des publications techniques GLLE participera à la mise en place d'un nouvel environnement de production des publications techniques du Griffon Mk II CH146C et à l'élaboration de nouveaux manuels d'entretien et d'exploitation des aéronefs pour la configuration du Griffon Mk II CH146C. Le coordinateur des publications techniques du GLLE devra :

• participer à l'élaboration d'une nouvelle collection de publications techniques en assurant le suivi et l'essai des nouveaux logiciels de publication technique et des feuilles de style

• Suivre l'avancement du projet et l'affectation des modules de données au sein d'une équipe de rédacteurs et d'illustrateurs techniques.

• Assurer le suivi des activités du projet par rapport au plan, au calendrier et au budget du projet.

• Créer un tableau de bord et des rapports pour suivre l'avancement du projet.

• Coordonner la soumission des produits livrables et des modules de données au ministère de la défense nationale ou à d'autres sous-traitants et assurer le suivi de l'examen et des approbations.

• Coordonner la classification et le marquage des documents avant leur soumission ou leur transfert.

• Participer aux enquêtes techniques et à l'évaluation de l'impact sur les manuels et instructions de maintenance existants, le cas échéant.

• Participer à l'élaboration et à la mise à jour des procédures internes et des instructions de travail.

In support of the CH146 Griffon Limited Life Extension (GLLE) Technical Publication Supervisor and the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager, in liaison with the appropriate project staff and subject matter experts within BTCL and the CH146 GLLE Project Management Office (PMO), the GLLE Technical Publications Coordinator will participate in the establishment of a new Griffon Mk II CH146C Technical Publication production environment and the development of new Aircraft Maintenance and operating manuals for the Griffon Mk II CH146C configuration. The GLLE Technical Publications coordinator will:

• Participate in the development of a new Technical Publication collection by ensuring follow up and testing of new technical publication software and style sheets.

• Track project progress and assignation of Data Modules among a team Technical Writers and Illustrators

• Ensure follow up of project activities against the project plan, schedule, and budget.

• Create project dashboard and reports to track project progress.

• Coordinate the submission of deliverables & data module to the department of National Defense or other Sub-Contractor and ensure follow up of review and approvals.

• Coordinate Classification and marking of documents prior to submission or transfer.

• Participate in Technical investigations and assessment of impact on existing maintenance manuals and instructions when needed.

• Participate in the development and maintenance of the internal procedures and work instructions.

Exigences

• Diplôme universitaire en maintenance aéronautique, en développement de logiciels ou dans tout autre domaine technique connexe.

• Expérience pertinente en rédaction technique, logiciel de rédaction technique, XML et norme S1000D.

• Expérience pertinente liée à l'entretien des aéronefs et aux manuels d'exploitation.

• De solides compétences rédactionnelles en anglais et en français sont essentielles.

• De solides compétences organisationnelles et d'excellentes aptitudes à la communication sont essentielles.

ATTESTATION DE SÉCURITÉ

Le titulaire doit obtenir et conserver le niveau de sécurité Secret OTAN délivré par le Programme de sécurité industrielle de Services Publics et Approvisionnement Canada et les agents de sécurité de BTCL.

Toute autre combinaison de scolarité et d’expérience jugée équivalente pourra être considérée.

Requirements

• College degree in aircraft maintenance, or software development or any related technical field.

• Relevant experience in technical writing, technical writing software, XML and S1000D standard.

• Relevant experience related to aircraft maintenance and operating manuals.

• Strong writing ability in both English and French is essential.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills are essential.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

The licensee must obtain and maintain a NATO Secret security clearance issued by the Industrial Security Program of Public Services and Supply Canada and BTCL security officers.

Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered.
