Job description
UI/UX Developer (Halifax, NS) On-Site/Hybrid
Our client is a fast-growing startup with a unique product-based solution for a diverse range of industries. We are working closely with them to hire a UI/UX Developer to join their expanding team.
Currently accepting applications for this unique role from experienced UI/UX Developers with great design skills, ideally with some instrumentation, analytical device interface design and/or chemistry or chemical analysis background.
Relevant experience includes Python, HTML/CSS/Javascript (or other front-end frameworks as appropriate) along with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma or similar design tools. Experience integrating high level software with firmware and interfacing with embedded microcontrollers (eg Arduino) would be a real asset.
This is a small team growing quickly so a self-starter with capacity to work collaboratively, creatively and quickly, under tight deadlines, while maintaining and optimizing design standards will be important. Requires experience or appetite to work directly with users. This will include collecting user feedback and driving enhancements and improvements in menus, tabs, widgets, search fields and reports.
