OBJECTIVES

We are currently looking for an independent and highly organized self-starter to join the Mustang Survival finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will cover the following duties and responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor accounts payable inbox, appropriately filing correspondence
• Accurately code and enter accounts payable invoices
• Obtain appropriate approvals for invoices in line with established approval matrix
• Print cheques, obtain signatures, and send to vendors
• Preparation of supplier account reconciliations
• Assist in reconciliations of expense reports and corporate card reconciliations
• Assist in reconciling payable related accounts
• Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures
• Prepare monthly internal financial reports as requested
• Other duties as may be assigned

• Diploma or Degree in accounting or business field with experience in an office setting preferred
• General knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting
• Experience with Netsuite an asset
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
• Team orientated with open communication style and demonstrated ability to show initiative
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and successfully manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective written and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
