Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales and Application Support professional located in Mississauga, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The Technical Sales and Application Support professional will be responsible for supporting customers in the application of products and solutions, performing product demonstrations, providing technical expertise on the product portfolio, and supporting the sales team in the development of new business opportunities. The Technical Sales and Application Support professional will also be responsible for technical training of field sales personnel, monitoring of competitive activity, and providing customer feedback to the product development team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales and application support for industrial or engineering products and services, preferably in the electrical or automation industry
- Knowledge of electrical and automation products, applications and markets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical explanations to customers and sales personnel
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and propose solutions to technical and commercial issues
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to manage multiple projects and priorities
