Role: Accounting Technician
Salary: $50,000-$60,000

Responsibilities
Participates in and provides support to the accounting group
Prepares bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Prepares and processes A/P invoices and payments (complete cycle)
Prepares and submits government remittances GST/PST
Contacts clients to follow-up on accounts receivable
Reconciles statement of accounts
Reconciles credit cards
Prepares expense reports
Daily entry of key data of financial transactions in database
Performs other related general accounting and administrative task
Qualifications
2 years experience minimum
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Meticulous and detail oriented
Discrete, able to manage confidential information
Able to effectively multi-task
Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Knowledge of SAP, an asset
Bilingual – English and French (written and spoken)
