Job Description
We are currently looking for a Cost Analyst, who will be working with the accounting team located at the head office in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare various month end close Journal Entries and analysis.
- Prepare invoices for aircraft maintenance customers.
- Support capital expense tracking and reporting.
- Analyze inventory accounts and maintenance variances.
- Opening and closing and validating maintenance cost work orders.
- Data entry of job tickets.
- Review inventory transactions, make corrections where required.
- Responsible for overseeing activities that are related to the handling and processing of insurance claims for helicopters, vehicles and other assets.
- Liaison between management, insurance adjuster and policyholder.
- Review status of aircraft components to determine insured value.
- Support annual inventory count.
- Participate in external audit process and reconciliation of accounts.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum collegial: DEC, Accounting, Finance...
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written);
- Proficient with Excel (advanced features); knowledge of AS400 an asset.
- Self-starter, good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good organizational skills.
