Senior Associate Tax Audit

Job description
Our customer located in Richmond Hill is a public accounting firm that provides Audit & Accounting Tax Advisory and Bookkeeping services to ownermanaged businesses and NotForProfit organizations.
We are currently looking to add a fulltime technologically inclined Staff Accountant who has a strong work ethic with a passion for excellence.
Your Responsibilities (but not be limited to):
- 3 4 years experience in Canadian CPA firm
- 3 4 years experience completing compilation engagements personal corporate tax returns.
- 3 4 years experience completing audit and review engagements for forprofit and notforprofit entities.
- 3 4 years experience in use of Caseware Caseview and TaxPrep
- Preparation of personal corporate tax and GST/HST returns.
- Preparation of payroll and governmentrelated remittances and filings including but not limited to T4 s and T5 s.
- Correspond with the Canada Revenue Agency regarding client matters.
Requirements
- Experience working in an accounting firm
- Expert level in QBO and QBD.
- Strong knowledge of accounting
- Experience using accounting and tax software such as TaxPrep TaxCycle or Profile Caseware and Caseview TaxPrep Forms Quickbooks Microsoft Office
- Close to completion of CPA Ontario Must be able to work 2 days in Richmond Hill office Must be from a midsized or smaller firm
The successful candidate will have: Post-secondary education, with a focus on accounting preferred Minimum of five (5) years experience in a public accounting firm preferred Bookkeeping experience Knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
