Job description
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities
- Report to Project Sponsor and maintain internal and client facing project status reports
- Responsible to ensure schedule targets and financial targets are achieved
- Actively manage customer relationship and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Will have end-to-end ownership of projects – from conceptualization to project handover and post-commissioning support
- Manages the planning and implementation of projects. Provides support by conveying policies and priorities, directing work and ensuring issues are resolved or escalated to appropriate level(s) to meet project deliverables and timelines.
- Carries out project plans according to established PMO project methodologies and systems to ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components by facilitating consensus with stakeholders. Responsible for project charter, plans, budget, scope, schedule, expenditures, client satisfaction and risks; reports on variances and impacts to deliverables.
- Leads meetings throughout the project lifecycle; seeks input from stakeholders.
- Manage project KPIs: communicating project progress, schedule, financial, deliverables, quality measures, controlling of scope, and change control processes. Projects range in size from $500K to +$10 million in size.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a team
