Position Description

A temporary full-time (1.0) District French Immersion Teacher Teaching on Call Teacher/District French Immersion Support Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective immediately until June 30, 2024. The assignment will be dispatched to French Immersion Schools (K-12) from the Board Office. All DTTOC's are assigned a default school to which they will work as a support teacher on days in which they are not dispatched to a specific replacement position. In rare TTOC shortage situations, this teacher may be required to teach classes outside the French Immersion program.

DTTOC's are required to go to any and all placements in which they are dispatched, as such DTTOC's must have access to reliable transportation.

This position includes a variety of TTOC coverage, including co-teaching and student learning support. This can include long-term placements. For longer term placements, the TTOC may be responsible for lesson preparation, student assessment, and the reporting of student progress.
