Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced supply chain manager for their role.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will assume an important role in optimizing all activities related to Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Logistics operations for our client in Canada and the US. Your primary objective is to ensure that these functions are executed seamlessly, efficiently, and strategically in alignment with organizational goals

Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
Lead the tactical buying team to enhance delivery performance, meeting annual procurement volume targets in support of Project revenue.

Warehouse Management & Inventory control
Implement process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs. Mentor the Supply Chain team in developing contingency plans to identify and manage supply chain gaps.

Supply Chain performance management
Oversee the operational execution of the supply chain, ensuring monthly KPIs are met. Monitor, prepare, and authorize operational budgets, allocating resources to support Project revenue recognitions.

Establish and maintain an effective process and management improvement system. Ensure adherence to company Processes and Procedures within the team.
Mentor Supply Chain Team to develop contingency plan to manage, identify any gaps in the supply chain
Ensure Supply Chain team maintenance of data integrity in SAP.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to Suppliers and international trade
Track and monitor inventory level and requirements driving initiatives to reduce inventory level year after year
Manage 3PL inventory

MANAGEMENT
Develop, motivate, and lead a competent and engaged Supply Chain team. Supervise, mentor, and engage the team, fostering efficiency, retention, and skill development.
Develop and maintain short and medium-term plans for resources, tools, and processes related to Supply Chain. Schedule and deploy resources efficiently to meet internal stakeholders needs and Company requirements.
Maintain complete and effective lines of communication with staff and management.
Set a positive environment within the team by adopting a positive, co-operative and collaborative approach in all related activities

Qualifications
● Supply Chain background with post secondary degree (MSc, or Business, or equivalent) and additional business education or experience

● 10-15+ years of experience in Supply Chain manufacturing environment and warehouse Management

● Demonstrate superior interpersonal written and oral skills in daily relations and reporting/status.

● Management experience with ability to mentor, coach and inspire teams

● Experience in developing and implementing a procurement strategy in a Project based organization is an important asset

● Experience with SAP Supply Chain module is a must

Physical Environment: hybrid work, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote
