CrimsonXT has partnered with a global manufacturer of commercial and industrial chillers in search of a Application Engineer. This company prides itself on offering highly technological chiller solutions for numerous verticals and is dedicated to being the innovation leader in the industry.

Role responsibilities
- If successful, you will report to the Engineering Manager, and you will work closely with the sales, service and product development team, and will provide the technical support to assure a positive customer experience.
- You will use your technical knowledge to generate innovative chiller and refrigeration ideas and concepts through component selection, preparing high quality design documentation ensuring clarity in specification requirements, carrying out engineering calculations and participate in factory acceptance tests.
- You will work cross functionally across the business with sales, service, supply chain and production to ensure on-time delivery of new and improved product developments and implement any after sales solutions.
What we are looking for
- We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in chiller/refrigeration manufacturing.
- Experience in 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks is highly preferred however candidates with experience in other software would be considered.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE/ANSI/ASME codes and design requirements is an asset.
- This is an on-site position in Montreal so candidates must be able to travel to site.
