Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Canadian Pacific Kansas City’s Cybersecurity team is seeking a passionate security professional to help us design, implement and manage our Identity and Access Management (IAM) services.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The successful candidate will perform the following activities:
- Administer and manage the IAM systems
- Interact with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements involving IAM
- Work collaboratively with other relevant IS teams to architect and implement IAM solutions that offer a superior user experience while maintaining an appropriate security posture
- Develop, implement and maintain standards, procedures and technology related to IAM to enable risk reduction, business enablement and operational efficiencies
- Assist projects and operational teams with IAM problem determination
- Advise project and operational teams on good security practices
- Prepare implementation and configuration documents for all integration points
- Provide technical advice and assistance on general cybersecurity related matters
- Conduct research to maintain and expand knowledge on the latest cybersecurity technologies and standards
- Various other duties as required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree or college diploma in an IT or Engineering related field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing or maintaining an IAM systems
- 2+ years of experience with Web Access Management
- 2+ years of experience with Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
- 2+ years of working knowledge and understanding of Directories (Active Directory and Azure)
- 2+ years of general understanding of Linux or Windows operating systems, and security and networking concepts
- Proficiency in REST API, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and JavaScript knowledge
- Broad and deep understanding of IAM and associated technologies. Authentication, Authorization, roles and rules, provisioning and all other aspects of Identity are second nature
- Hands on experience with building Java applications, web services and message oriented middleware solutions
- Past experiences in IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) or IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) systems will be considered an asset
