DZ Vacuum Truck Services Labourer

Job description

GFL Environmental is looking for a DZ Construction Labourer to join the growing team in Windsor, ON!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Flusher Truck and CCTV Operators in all required areas
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools
• Ensure Trucks and work areas are clean and orderly
• Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedures
• Setup of safety equipment, traffic signs, harnesses etc.
• Operation of gas detectors for confined space entry
• Ensure all required equipment is available and working effectively
• Utilizing tools and equipment in a safe manner

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• DZ LICENSE Required. Please do not apply if you do not have a DZ or AZ license.
• Prior construction experience or knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but is not mandatory.
• Able to work closely with co-workers as a team
• Must be able to perform manual labour when required
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing and able to accept direction
• Week day travel up to 30% required
• Working at Heights an asset
