Qualifications and Responsibilities

• MUST be RIBO licensed
• Provide exceptional customer service by following procedures and protocols in a fast paced work environment
• Effective communicator, able to work through situations with clients and co-workers
• Assess personal insurance needs through policy reviews and make recommendations for existing clients
• Order reports to confirm driving records (Autoplus and MVR) reports
• Estimate and prepare fully completed applications for property and auto insurance 
• Complete policy changes on various insurance company portals, while speaking with the clients on the phone or in the office
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding underwriting requirements
• Review policy renewals for accuracy, proper rating/coverage and complete renewal letters with recommendations when necessary or complete market search if required for remarketing
• Take claims from clients and report to insurance companies and follow guidelines for client follow-up
• Follow up with clients regarding registered letter cancellations and returned payments  
• Upsell and cross sell where appropriate
• Able to prioritize and manage workload and adapt to changing environments
• Proficient with SigXP and Compuquote/Applied Rating, Word and Outlook 
• Licensed minimum of 3 years is preferred
