Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Coordinator, Protection Services or designate, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the SHOP HEAD, GROUNDS is responsible for the Grounds Shop Operations, which includes the appearance maintenance of all grounds, parking lots, building entrances, exits, etc., of the Hospital complex and its affiliated buildings: assisting with the selecting and monitoring of staff; preparing reports; and performing other related duties as required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

 

SPECIAL TRAINING:

Must possess a current and relevant Skid Steer Loader Safety course certificate from the Manitoba Safety Council or will have to successfully obtain certificate at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the incumbent and the employer.
