ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada (IFCJ Canada), a philanthropic organization, was founded to promote better understanding and cooperation between Christians and Jews and to build broad support for Israel. Independently governed by a Canadian Board of Directors, IFCJ Canada, along with affiliate operations located in Israel, the United States, and South Korea, represents one of Israel’s largest philanthropic organizations delivering humanitarian programs aiding the elderly including Holocaust survivors, orphaned and at-risk populations in Israel, the former Soviet Union and other areas of the world.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Director of Philanthropy , reporting directly to the Executive Director, assumes a leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising programs. These programs aim to drive growth, cultivate a robust donor pipeline, foster deeper donor relationships, and ensure exemplary stewardship. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director and other key stakeholders is essential to maintaining consistency and seamless integration of messaging across all initiatives.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000 commensurate with experience.

Workplace Environment

The office is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, at the intersection of Adelaide and York Street. Work is performed in a hybrid model, with potential for extended hours during peak periods and non-traditional hours as required. Attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings may also be necessary. The responsibilities of the Director of Philanthropy may be performed remotely. Therefore, candidates living in Western Canada are welcome to apply.
