Permanent full time position Monday-Friday
Shift 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Salary ranges from 55-65k depending on experience
Insurances paid 100% by employer
2 weeks vacation (possibility of more)
5 sick days
5 personal days
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight to customer locations
- Timely and efficient dispatch to ensure that a high service is maintained
- Planning and execution of line haul movements both outbound and inbound
- Maintain discipline with contractors and agents
- Communicate with the drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify problems
- Track and trace the intermodal units via CP rail and CN rail portals
- Receive and respond to calls from customers as well as the customer service group
- Work with the operations team in a respectful manner
Qualifications
Minimum 1-year work experience in related field.
Bilingual in English and French.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Mechanical knowledge an asset.
Knowledge of dispatch software.
Customer Service oriented and personable.
Organized and reliable.
