Sales Supervisor - retail 13731472 Canada Inc. Location 1841 Queen St East Toronto, ON. Salary 27.00 to 29.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 40 hours per week. Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience. Experience 1 to less than 7 months. Work setting Retail service establishment. Responsibilities: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) Assign sales workers to duties. Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Authorize payments by cheque. Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions. Order merchandise, Authorize return of merchandise, Establish work schedules, Sell merchandise. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Organize and maintain inventory. Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Conduct performance reviews Supervision 1 to 2 people.
