Job description
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the scope, deliverables, and responsibilities for the role of Project Coordinator within the establishment of a new practice area for a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software product. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the project team, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and facilitating effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders.
The primary objective of this project is to establish a new practice area dedicated to the implementation and utilization of a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software product. The Project Coordinator will assist in ensuring the successful execution of the project by closely working with the Project Manager and Director of Operations.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work for the Project Coordinator includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Director of Operations to support the project team in achieving project objectives.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Business Analysis (BA) teams to track and mitigate software bugs and issues.
- Track project status and progress, ensuring that project timelines are met.
- Communicate regularly with team members to provide updates on project deliverables and milestones.
- Assist in coordinating project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, and action items.
- Identify and escalate any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices and methodologies.
Deliverables:
- Regular project status reports highlighting progress, issues, and upcoming milestones.
- Updated project schedules and timelines.
- Documentation of software bugs and issues tracked and mitigated.
- Meeting agendas and minutes for project meetings.
- Any other documentation or reports deemed necessary for project management and tracking purposes.
- 2-5 Years of previous project coordination experience.
- Experience providing project coordination in an IT environment.
- University Degree or College Diploma.
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
