Reporting to the Manager of Outpatient Pharmacy Services, the Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Team is committed to the integration of knowledge and skill in the provision of quality, patient-focused pharmacy services and the ongoing development and optimization of contemporary pharmacist directed patient care activities in a specialized clinical area within the Regina Service Area. The incumbent is responsible for all medication-related needs of patients in a specialized clinical setting, including but not limited to the development and implementation of patient specific pharmaceutical care plans including optimization of patient specific medication therapy, provision of drug information to physicians, other health care professionals and the patient, facilitation of the procurement of specialty drugs and will serve as a preceptor to other pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and pharmacy undergraduate students. The incumbent will also be involved in interdisciplinary education and research.
Job Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Entry-level Degree (Bachelor of Science Pharmacy or entry level PharmD). Licensed or eligible for licensure as a practicing pharmacist in Saskatchewan.

Other Information - HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
