Job Summary

The Analyst, Scheduling will work on impactful schedule initatives in the short to mid term time frame as it relates to the E195 E2 and Dash 8 fleets. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and support development of short to medium term flight schedules balanced to meet commercial and operational, CSAT and NPS goals
- Proactively seek and identify ways to improve the flight schedule
- Load and maintain the current flight schedule for sale and associated reporting
- Ensure proper communication of schedules to all relevant departments and external parties
- Coordinate and apply schedule changes, addition/ reductions and other pricing and revenue initiatives together with revenue management team
- Analyze and report on competitor schedule impacts
- Provide schedule analysis and flight performance reporting to Scheduling, Network Planning and other internal teams
- Work on and support the implementation of new route launches and connections setup
- Monitor and make recommendations on route financial performance
- Participate in the implementation and setup along with ongoing tasks for airline partnerships
- Develop and administer training for scheduling software across key departments where interpreting Porter-own flight schedule data is essential to planning decisions.
- Working with the Charters / Sales teams to model and assess the viability of charter opportunities within the context of the greater commercial schedule
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications
- Advanced ability to function independently, show initiative and problem solve situations on their own
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and able to work with high volumes of information
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement, with proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications an asset
- Experience with Zulu scheduling software considered an asset
- Familiarity with Tableau online/ desktop is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Airline / Airport Operations is considered an asset
- Minimum two years in a similar function (revenue management & airline airport experience will be considered)
- Experience with Level 2 and Level 3 slots (IATA) – considered an asset
- Minimum undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, or similar technical proficiency
