Senior Operations Manager:
Our client is searching for a Senior Operations Manager to join their team. This role will focus on implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning system, enhancing operational efficiencies, developing and implementing standard operating procedures, leading strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. A successful candidate will bring a strategic vision to the operations, ensuring the alignment of business processes with the ERP system, and professionalize business processes to ensure future prosperity.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Lead the ERP implementation project from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with IT and external consultants to customize and configure the ERP system to fit the company’s needs
- Train and support team members in adapting to and utilizing the new system effectively
- Develop and execute business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Implement new SOPs and best practices in line with industry standards, ensuring they are clearly communicated and adopted across the organization
- Develop and oversee key performance indicators and reporting processes to measure operational success and identify areas for improvement
- Foster a culture of accountability and transparency, ensuring team members are clear on expectations and objectives
- Lead the establishment of a formal HR department, developing HR policies and procedures, and practices to support the growing team
- Guide the company’s entry into e-commerce, ensuring seamless integration with the ERP system and alignment with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the Warehouse Manager, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and alignment with broader operational goals
- Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment
- Work with the Accounting Department to establish operational budgets and create a regular financial reporting schedule to review the company’s operational health
Your strengths include: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years experience in a senior operations role, with a track record of successful ERP implementation and business process optimization
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through significant change
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of operations, supply chain management, and e-commerce integration
- Knowledgeable in developing and implementing SOPs, HR practices, and performance metrics
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
