Job description
Under the authority of the team leader, the incumbent must carry out various work related to automobile painting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare and prime surfaces to be painted.
- Mix and prepare products used to carry out tasks (paint, hardener, and other).
- Apply finishing coats of powder and liquid paint to the metal as well as color lacquer and base coat.
- Preparation of all finishing materials.
- Inspection of metal parts.
- Perform all other related tasks.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Training & Experience
- Secondary 5 trade option, in painting or equivalent, in the absence of a diploma, all experience will be considered.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a painter.
Knowledge and skills
- Must be familiar with solvents, lacquers, enamels and varnishes
- Able to mix appropriate paint
- Masters electrostatic painting techniques, as well as the different types of powder paint
- Able to operate and make adjustments on different painting equipment
- Ability to differentiate colors
