The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior A pplication Specialist - M365 to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

As the Senior Applications Specialist, you will lead teams of the design, development and support of solutions using the Microsoft M365 ecosystem and other SaaS/COTS platforms. Your innovative and solutions-oriented approach, combined with your extensive knowledge and experience with the Microsoft 365 landscape, will be essential in ensuring the successful implementation of sound and sustainable technical sol utions. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to teams as they design, manage, maintain , and support business applications based on M365 and other SaaS/COTS technology solutions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

• Degree in Computer Science and six years of experience working with applications in a complex IT environment; OR Diploma and seven years of experience working with applications in a complex IT environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of t hree year s of dedicated experience designing, building, and implementing M365 solutions with Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Teams .
• Three or more years of supervisory experience providing technical direction to IT technical work teams .
• Demonstrated knowledge and preferably three years of experience as an M365 tenant administrator.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management methodology and IT change management processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in architectural and database engineering specifically with cloud-based storage and Dataverse database solutions.
