Job description
In this role, you will use strategic researching and sourcing techniques to build and manage Combined’s sales force candidate pipeline. You'll partner with Sales Leadership to understand their requirements and develop a sourcing strategy to identify the best talent, as well as manage the applicant flow, promote referrals, and most importantly, use your research skills to uncover hidden talent. Once you identify the best candidates, you'll act as an ambassador to position our value proposition to close candidates on opportunities. We'll need you to have a track record of sourcing talent within the financial services and insurance industry.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Drive talent pipeline by researching, identifying, attracting and generating pools of top-quality candidates by evaluating profiles including conducting cold-calls / phone screens.
- Actively engage and recruit licensed agents through available resources
- Become a subject matter expert on the Combined Insurance value proposition and how to position with candidates from competitors and external industries
- Develop strong knowledge base of industry drivers, trends, key players, direct competitors to our portfolio
- Execute the search strategy, including, databases, social media, networking resources, research requirements and timeframes for assigned regions as directed
- Lead career fairs and opportunity meetings as required within designated region
- Manage a high-volume candidate pipeline using our applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Execute all tasks associated with offers and onboarding
- Cultivate candidate relationships to understand career aspirations and expectations
- Manage overall data integrity to guarantee accurate reporting
- Oversight of applicable recruiting reports
- Participate in meetings to review results and best practices
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience preferably in the insurance or financial services industry (corporate or agency)
- Proven success in recruiting and an ability to manage the requisition load
- Demonstrated success using recruiting tools, e.g. Boolean search, databases, social media, CRM
- Capable of executing KPIs, including relationship building with key stakeholders and understanding recruiting metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort in cold calling, networking, and public speaking
- Ability to use creative problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and achievement oriented
- Ability to travel 20% within designated region
