Electrical Engineering – C4 Systems
London ON
1 year contract (renewable)
$29.00 - 40.00

Key Job Elements and Responsibilities
•Complete component level design tasks while keeping supervisor regularly inform on progress and issues encountered. Ensure all designs are peer reviewed by technical lead or assigned mentor.
•Areas of focus is expertise on one or more domains of Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems: radios/antennas and intercom systems, navigation systems, cameras and electro-optic sensors, video networks, unscrewed systems (UAV, UGV, etc), designing wiring harnesses for such systems.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
•University degree or College Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
•3 to 5 years relevant engineering experience.
•Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
•Project Management experience.
•Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
•Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space

Qualifications

Preferred Experience
•Ability to understand and review to company drawing standards.
•Expertise in harness design tools such as Siemens’ Capital Enterprise suite or Zuken
•Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620D, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
•Experience with C4ISR systems on military vehicles
•Eng. or ability to obtain PEng designation
•Proficient with processes and products
