CGI is looking for a Business Consultant to be part of a large payroll solution implementation for a client with over 300,000 employees.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Business Consultant - Payroll will support functional workshops with the client to gather business and functional requirements from the stakeholders, configure the payroll solution according to client requirements, support testing and implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in workshops and design sessions to gather requirements from the customer.
• Configure Ceridian Solution to meet the requirements gathered from the customer.
• Develop unit test cases and execute functional/unit testing to ensure the configuration is aligned with the customer requirements.
• Log bugs and work with the configuration team to resolve them in a timely fashion.
• Support UAT phase and go-live to ensure implementation of the solution is error-free.
• Support go-live and post-production support transition activities.
• Participate in and help expand the Ceridian Dayforce Center of Excellence within CGI

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of payroll and benefits experience with an HCM software provider
• Ability to document actions, decisions, and testing discrepancies in both an ad hoc and prescribed time interval
• Ability to write customer specific unit test scenarios in standardized testing format
• Experience in troubleshooting, researching and documenting testing discrepancies (RCAs)
• Experience writing Standard Operating Procedures for custom processes
