Personal Support Worker: Beaverton, Ontario

Home Care Assistance is hiring a personal support worker to start at with a client in Beaverton. The shifts are from 8am to 1pm Monday to Friday ongoing.

Your typical day:

 

• Bath/Shower the client
• Clean bathroom
• Housekeeping ,  wash dishes
• Do laundry as required/assist with doing the laundry
• Empty trash
• Engagement :  take client for drives, to the waterfront, going for walks, and engage in conversation
• Prepare dinner :  prepare a light dinner
• Prepare lunch
• Sweep
• Walk with client

  Must haves:

• Access to reliable transportation G License and valid insurance
• Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines
