Job description
ELH Mechanical is seeking licensed and apprentice 308A Sheet Metal Workers for Commercial & Industrial sheet metal work. Applicants must be comfortable with new installations, retrofits, modifications and repairs on all sizing of ducting systems. This position is full time with a minimum 40-hour work week. Pay structure and starting wages will be based on experience levels.
Tasks:
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
- Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
- Cut materials using power and or hand tools .
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Fit and join sheet metal parts.
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
Experience and/or Qualifications:
- 308A Certificate (Required).
- Driver's License (Preferred).
- Working at Heights Certificate (Preferred).
- SIN Card (Required).
- Knowledge of ducting fabrications methods (Preferred).
- Reliable.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to read and construct ducting systems according to blueprints/drawings.
- Knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety rules and mandates.
