We are looking for a Medical Sales Representative to join our Derma & Health Care team, with an entrepreneurial and can-do attitude who can help us to further accelerate the Eucerin & Aquaphor business in Canada. This position reports to the Senior Medical Sales & Marketing Manager and it is key for the long-term development of the brands ambition to further accelerate within dermo-cosmetics segments. As the successful incumbent you will bring your skincare expertise to implement the medical strategy to increase dermatology recommendation of Eucerin/Aquaphor and grow sales for the Montreal/Quebec City area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhance the image and increase recommendation of our brands:
- Visit targeted dermatologists in your territory and present the brand’s products and clinical data to increase recommendations and develop a global approach to the patient’s skin care needs
- Get to know the environment, the pathologies, the products, and the useful communication techniques for promoting the products and services
- Represent the brand at every contact opportunity with health professionals and ensure they are followed up (congresses, ongoing medical training...)
Implement the medical visit strategy:
- Respect target coverage, visit frequency and product cycles
- Make systematic use of available promotional tools (sales visit aids, brochures, publications…)
- Use all available communication channels to increase message frequency and enhance customization
- Implement communication techniques to adapt to doctor’s needs and personalise the approach
Manage administrative and reporting tasks:
- Organise and optimise visit planning
- Master and use monitoring tools for CRM/CLM platform activity
- Prepare visits and carry out qualitative and quantitative activity reporting
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Medical Detailing Skills:
- Targeting and segmentation follow-up
- Builds an interactive and customized dialogue with the physician
- Treats objections, obtains prescriptions
Scientific Knowledge:
- Knows skin pathologies and the medical environment
- Knows our products and competition (formulas and patients benefits)
- Develops one’s local medical network
Entrepreneurship on one's Territory:
- Analyzes key performance indicators on one’s territory
- Implements and adjusts sectoral action plan
- Partners with other Medical Sales Rep(s) to build synergies
Bilingual (French and English written and spoken)
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in business or science
- 5 to 7 years of over-the-counter products or pharmaceutical sales experience, specifically in Dermatology
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, along with strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- The ability to work independently and in multi-discipline team environments
- Initiative to act quickly on business opportunities, and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges
