We are currently looking for a Sales Manager. You will:
- Work closely with District Manager, sales representative and store managers on the planning and implementation of specific sales development initiatives. Lead district sales development efforts and manages the implementation of sales tools, sales processes and sales development systems (including prospecting for large clients)
- Together with sales representatives under your supervision, you will be accountable for achieving Sales objectives (budget) by, among other things, promoting our heavy vehicle marketing programs to district customers.
- Recruit, develop, assess, train and motivate your team. Plan and follow-up sales development efforts with them and develop and implement corrective action plans as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with your team and the entire corporate store staff within your district. Participate in monthly District / Regional meetings and lead regular meetings with your team.
- Stay abreast of market developments in your district; changes to product lines; new technologies and competitors’ strategies. Keep District Manager informed of such changes.
- Implement Corporate and Regional sales development initiatives in order to maintain market position and remain one step ahead of the competition.
- Follow-up regularly on District Sales results by producing weekly and monthly performance reports.
To join our team, you need:
- Assets: community College, business major or equivalent experience, and/or knowledge of the automotive industry/car parts (technical)
- At least 8 years' experience in sales (or other relevant experience)
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (intermidiate-level knowledge)
- Ability to sell, persuade and convince an external client (B2B)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
