Job description

WSP is currently seeking an Experienced CAD Technologist to join our Bridges team, located in our Burlington office.

WSP is proud of its reputation for leadership in the bridge engineering field. This is an environment where one is surrounded and supported by a group of engineers and technicians with unsurpassed experience in all facets of bridge engineering. The Burlington Bridge Team collaborates with the Bridge Teams in Oakville and Thornhill, sharing work and knowledge. Between the 3 offices there are over 80 staff members.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Bridges, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including multi-disciplinary design-bid build and alternative-delivery projects, which allows you to develop your experience through coordinating with project managers and design engineers. This includes preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings, checking of structural drawings, calculations of structural quantities, review of shop drawings, and participation in structural inspections, technical documentation, and other related activities.
