MAV Beauty, holding company for Marc Anthony True Professional, Cake Beauty, Renpure, and The Mane Choice is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Social Media Manager. This individual has their finger on the pulse of all things social across the key social platforms, has experience in managing multiple social channels with a focus on TikTok and Meta, growing and managing communities, is an initiative-taker, a collaborator, and always has their eye on the KPIs. This individual is closely in-tune with the overall social conversation, and can quickly identify trends, and engagement opportunities for the brands to take part. This individual is excited to dig into the data and identify learnings and insights that will help the brands develop new creative content strategies, formats, and ways of reaching audiences. Our Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring company's Social Media strategy across our portfolio of brands to increase brand awareness, grow and engage our communities, improve Marketing efforts, and increase sales. This role works within a Marketing Communications team where they will closely collaborate with the Influencer and Content team as well as work closely with Marketing and Sales departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement our organic Social Media strategy for the brands:
- Develop and implement a measurable social media strategy that supports business objectives, new innovation, and overall brand identity across the MAV Beauty brands.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative team to brainstorm and plan brand building social content that drives engagement across all channels.
- Develop and execute content calendar across MAV brands on a quarterly basis aligned to brand strategy and communication priorities.
- Continue to grow the brand's community and followers on social media through existing and new programs.
- Lead the planning and execution of content production inclusive of organizing and managing internal and external shoots and editing photos and videos for various social platforms and deliver within budget and on time.
- Track the competition and maintain in-depth awareness and knowledge of the latest content and trends while brainstorming innovative content formats to continually test and learn.
- Responsible for posting all content on a cadence and frequency that is on strategy in order to increase reach and engagement.
- Liaison with customer service call center to address consumer needs as they arise.
- Act as community manager for all social accounts ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
- Monitor & report on community health metrics, and contribute to weekly reports showcasing performance of priority social channels.
- Able to react quickly to market trends, celebrity new, pop culture moments with relevant and engaging content.
- Manage and curate the brand’s social content library, graphics, video assets and the trafficking of content to on time and in full delivery of those completed assets.
- Perform audits on social performance on a rolling basis and be able to present findings.
- Monitor and report regularly on product feedback, online reviews, brand sentiment, competitive, KPIs and other performance metrics or goals to analyze performance of social channel to quantify the effectiveness of activations and drive scalable learnings
Requirements and qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Media specialist in Beauty or Fashion
- Ability to craft engaging and shareable content
- Extensive experience managing content, social media, and market insights with an in-depth understanding of the social and digital space
- Knowledge of social media publishing tools such as Hootsuite, and other measurement tools
- Examples of driving a social strategy that successfully grew an audience and delivered on engagement metrics while building a brand with lasting impact
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube, and abreast of social media best practices, and regional, and global trends
- Excellent time-management and multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Must be willing and available to monitor and react when necessary, across social media platforms off-hours
