KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Director of Retail, you will:

Business Development Strategy:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive retail growth across various enterprises.

- Cultivate a strong and trusting relationship with Franchise partners.

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with overall corporate objectives.

Retail Operations:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail establishments, ensuring seamless execution of business strategies.

- Implement best practices for inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product assortment and pricing strategies.

Strategic Partnerships:

- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key vendors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

- Negotiate favourable terms and agreements to enhance the retail ecosystem and drive profitability.

- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop co-marketing and co-branding opportunities.

Financial Management:

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.

- Implement cost-control measures while maximizing revenue streams.

- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to make data-driven decisions and adjustments.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing retail team.

- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.

- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and pivot strategies as needed.

- Stay abreast of industry developments and proactively recommend adjustments to business plans.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Develop a strong safety culture within all our operations.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks through effective risk management strategies.

- Implement policies and procedures to uphold ethical business practices.



QUALIFICATIONS:

As the Director of Retail, you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience (10+ years) in retail management and business development, with a focus on driving revenue growth.

- Strong understanding of retail operations, financial management, and market dynamics.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

- Analytical mindset with a strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.




ROLE CRITERIA:

- 40 hours per week with necessary flexibility to support the needs of the role.

- Flexibility to travel as required.

- Valid and clean driver’s license
