Phillips Bros Excavating is a family owned and operated company which has proudly served the construction industry for over 27 years. We are a diversified company that can handle any job big or small. Our past and current projects have included but not limited to: municipal street reconstruction, culvert replacements, new construction site preparation, chipping, grading, grubbing, floating, crushing, street sweeping & snow removal. We also provide many specialty services for our customers based on individual needs. Due to expanding business demand, we are currently looking for qualified Construction Site Coordinators. Duties: - Support Project Managers/Superintendents: Preparing proposals, change orders, etc - Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations - Prepare cost and material estimates, project schedules, etc. - Attend construction meetings - Understand and execute project scopes - Prepare contract documents - Handle customer relations - Perform field surveys - Site Inspections of various construction projects - Support Project Managers: preparing proposals, change orders, etc. - Provide clear and concise documents to supervisors - Tracking of all payable items on site - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Civil Engineering Technologist Degree, Civil Engineering Degree, or equivalent will be seen as an asset. - Ability to survey with total station and/or GPS rover will be seen as an asset. - Strong communication skills - Capability to work well in teams - A valid driver's license
