Position: Executive Assistant
Hours : Full Time - 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $70,000 CAD/year
Benefits: Available after 6-month probation period
Suneeva, a Toronto-based commercial film production company, is looking for a passionate individual with diverse experience to join our team. Suneeva represents a roster of talented commercial directors in Canada and produces top quality film content for the advertising industry. Suneeva is committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to report directly to and support Suneeva’s Executive Producer (EP).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the EP’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Exercising discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
- Serving as a liaison between the public, internal staff and clients. This includes screening phone calls, taking messages, reading emails and directing calls/correspondence in an appropriate manner.
- Keeping the EP advised of time-sensitive and priority issues.
- Ensuring appropriate follow up to correspondence and enquiries.
- Printing, faxing, mailing, couriering, FedEx-ing, copying, filing, emailing, calling and messaging as required.
- Preparing, reconciling, and submitting expense reports.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Making purchases as directed by the EP.
- Attending meetings and taking notes.
- Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including support to other departments or staff as needed.
Qualified candidates should have:
- Strong written and inter-personal skills
- Detailed-oriented self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Ability to exhibit sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and make decisions
- Able to multi-task and thrives in a high pace environment
- Familiarity with mac computers, proficiency with Microsoft Office
- A passion for film, television, photography, social media, and TV commercials
- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license REQUIRED.
- Qualified Candidates will undergo a Police Background Check & must provide 2 work references
