- Providing qualifications and written assumptions that can be discussed with the architect or the owner while reviewing estimates
- Developing a checklist for purchasing to use prior to awarding work
- Making sure estimating are complete when guaranteeing the cost of a project (GMP)
- Understanding scope of project
- Assisting sales in securing new work
- Developing relationships with architects and engineers in network
- Assisting engineering in reviewing change order
- Present cost estimates to upper management
- Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
- Input cost data into company database

The Successful Applicant
- Formal education related to Engineering, Construction Management or other equivalent construction program
- 5-10 years progressive local experience in General Contracting, with at least 5 years in an estimating role on ICI projects
- Knowledge of lump sum, construction management and conceptual estimating
- Ability to create reports on costing data
- Amazing analytical and math skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Ability to perform review of documents, specification and drawings in preparation of estimate
What's on Offer
Salary $90,000 - $100,000 based on experience.
