Job description

Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst, North American Sales Operations. The analyst will join the sales operations team in Markham, Ontario. The role is a highly versatile position that provides the foundation, guidance, and exposure towards a challenging and dynamic career. The Senior Analyst will be involved at various depths with supporting business development efforts with a rapidly expanding organization. We are seeking an individual who demonstrates versatility and a keen desire for learning the multiple facets of our business.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales performance metrics, such as historical sales data, market trends, conversion rates, and sales pipeline data to identify opportunities and challenges and support strategic decision making;

Manage internal databases such as Salesforce and Oracle with new sales details and prepare for implementation;

Assist in preparation of various analyses and reports for management and business needs;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare reports, client invoices and process allowance payments;

Assist in the preparation of forecasting and business planning process;

Provide monthly client consumption reports while reviewing current billing models, rates, specific conditions;

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field that provides a solid foundation for analytics and business acumen;

Minimum two to three (2-3) years of relevant work experience. Experience with sales operations, business analytics or finance is preferred. ;

Highly proficient in Excel, including ability to model and use advanced functions;

Highly proficient in PowerPoint, including ability to generate captivating presentations;

Strong attention to detail, a must, with ability to deliver management ready materials;

Demonstrated leadership ability and is a team player;

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and mentality;

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;

Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development;

Entrepreneurial focused, with a desire to learn and grow professionally and personally;
