CWB Welder - Structural Welding
* Immediate Start *
Sherwood Park, Not Transit Accessible
2 Shifts: Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm, potential overtime (OT) / Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am, potential overtime (OT)
Contract 2.5 months duration with potential extension or permanent opportunity
Hourly Wage Journeyman: $35.60
Hourly Wage 3rd year apprentice: $32.05

Do you have a journeyman certificate and valid CWB FCAW/MCAW certificate?

Our Client is looking for a welder who has both their FCAW and MCAW CWB Welder Qualification to help with an upcoming project demand in their local Edmonton shop. Great opportunity to work with a great team to start immediately.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding and weld steel beams and related products

- Welding procedures FCAW/MCAW
- Assist in moving material and parts involving heavy lifting
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications
- Previous structural steel welding work experience
- Valid FCAW/MCAW CWB qualification
- 3rd year welding apprenceship or journeyman
- Physically fit and able to work on a trolly welding under a structure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure in both metric and imperial
- Organization Skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
- Please note this work location is not transit accessible and your own transportation is a must
